🌊Hydrangea arborescens is a native Hydrangea that was first documented in 1792 when George Washington planted them at Mount Vernon. Though the Native Americans had long been using wild hydrangeas medicinally, colonists discovered their roots to be useful as painkillers (analgesics) and to support the kidney and bladder. 👩🌾
🍃Through modern botanical medicine, research supports Hydrangea sp. to be especially beneficial in urolithiasis (the formation of stony concretions in the bladder or urinary tract).🍃
